AN OFFICIAL SELECTION OF THE 2025 ORIGIN 1ST IRISH FESTIVAL
Our St Paddy’s luck holds as Tim Connell brings back “Lucky Me!” now a St Patrick’s Day tradition at Pangea.
In this critically acclaimed show, the 2023 Bistro Award-winner and 2025 & 2023 MAC nominee, offers an evening full of song, story, poetry, wit and genuine Irish sentiment. Connell is a gifted storyteller who, when he comments on our life and times, is unfailingly honest, courteous and insightful. According to Alix Cohen, “he’s a find… and oh that lustrous voice!”
The evening includes songs from contemporary Irish singer/songwriters (Gilbert O’Sullivan, Damien Rice, Van Morrison), Broadway (George M!, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, Finian’s Rainbow), and of course some good ol’ reliable pub songs.
In “Lucky Me” Tim is joined by music director James Followell on piano and Seoyen Im on fiddle/violin.
Praise for LUCKY ME!:

“When Tim Connell begins “Look to the Rainbow” with an a capella Irish lilt, one’s instinct is to turn for a view. The captivating performer is authentic. He exudes warmth and naturalness, immediately gathering in an audience. Though “yet to make a pilgrimage to the motherland,” Connell is 95% Irish. This is St. Patrick’s Day.”
