The series “Jazz & The City/Ladybug’s New York” started in Jan 2022 at PANGEA.

With Vol 4 of her amusing jazz tales you’ll find insight of the exciting and adventurous life of the oh!-so specific lifestyle in New York City in particular through the eyes of Ladybug, a smalltown girl in the big city. Verena McBee charmingly presents a wide variety of jazz music. Be it swing, latin, blues, post be-bop originals or a touch of Broadway – It’s the unique Ladybug–style, that shines and makes its musical path through the metropolitan, guiding you through the night.

Enjoy Alberto Pibiri on piano & Stefano Battaglia on bass, who’ll set you up for the colors & rhythms of the fast-paced city. You’ll be in great company with music by Charlie Parker, Chick Corea, A.J Jobim, Michael Gore, Cecil McBee and, of course, – yours truly, original Ladybug.
