Fresh off a sold-out debut in 2024, it’s time to get “diva-licious” with Ruby Powers and Julia Van Cartier!
The drag sister duo brings live vocals, hilarious antics, and undeniable heart to their signature cabarets from New York City to Fire Island. They return to Pangea for a residency of eight shows in 2025, with music direction by Yasuhiko Fukuoka.
About Julia & Ruby
Called “NYC’s drag darling” by Time Out NY, Ruby Powers returns to Pangea fresh from a sold-out run at The Moore with Andy Starling. She debuted her hit show “At The Baths,” celebrating the spirit of the Continental Baths, at Pangea in 2017. She is also known for launching Queenly NFT, a pioneering cryptogallery for queer artists.
Julia Van Cartier has been on stage in a pair of heels for 24 years and has perfected her skils of not only performing but also as an accomplished producer producing sold out shows and creating a sense of family for audiences to enjoy. Nite Life Exchange says “With sky-high wigs and fabulous looks, captivating stories and killer vocals, Julia Van Cartier is a supremely well-rounded drag artist.” And who is she to argue?

Pangea is New York’s iconic restaurant / cabaret dinner theater. All shows have a $20 food and/or beverage minimum per person (unless otherwise indicated on your ticket.) Tickets online are $40 for General Admission and $50 for Preferred Seats (Ringside). Tickets at the door, if available, are $50 (Cash Only). The house opens at 6:00pm for food and beverage service. Please note the ticket price goes mostly to the performers and production staff. The club sells food and beverages to continue to bring live music to NYC. We do not take reservations and seating is first come, first seated.
