Following her sold out show in June, jazz vocalist Jeannette Miller returns to Pangea with an evening of love songs to warm the heart. “I’ve Got My Love to Keep Me Warm,” will explore love in all its aspects: romantic love, the promise of love, love gone wrong, love of place and self love. Jeannette will be joined by Lee Tomboulian on piano and Skip Ward on bass.
A fearless improviser praised for her “swanky, take-charge vocals,” Jeannette draws from a deep reservoir of musicality coming from years of training in classical piano, experience as a singer/songwriter, and improvisation studies with greats such as Jay Clayton and Bobby McFerrin. As a songwriter, Jeannette has twice garnered awards in the Mid Atlantic Songwriting Competition.
