MAC Award and BroadwayWorld nominee, Renee Katz, makes her Pangea debut in celebration of the release of her CD, WINTER AWAKENINGS featuring Maury Yeston’s passionate DECEMBER SONGS, along with standards from the Great American Songbook and Musical Theater. Renee has appeared in Cabaret venues throughout NYC, in The Mabel Mercer Cabaret Convention at Jazz at Lincoln Center and at its Jerome Kern tribute show, All The Things You Are, at Weil Recital Hall in Carnegie Hall. She has received critical acclaim for her autobiographical show Never Been Gone, based on a poetry/CD set she created with Musical Director Christopher Marlowe. Tonight, Renee is joined by her fabulous Musical Director/Arranger John M. Cook and Cellist Alon Bisk. The evening is directed by Peter Schlosser.
