Gabriel Hermida is a renowned guitarist and composer celebrated for his masterful infusion of classical tango with elements of flamenco and jazz. His evocative style captures the passion and elegance of tango while embracing diverse musical traditions. Notably, Hermida has collaborated with legendary tap dancer Savion Glover, performing on the acclaimed “Solo in Time” tour at some of the world’s most prestigious venues.

As an arranger and producer, Hermida has crafted and performed captivating productions such as the Edith Piaf Tribute, Fire & Passion, Life is a Cabaret (featuring music by Barbra Streisand, Liza Minnelli, and Edith Piaf), and Ultra Tango, which merges the dramatic rhythms of tango and flamenco with original compositions. His works also include tributes to Django Reinhardt’s French jazz, as well as Italian and Greek standards, and interpretations of Astor Piazzolla, Antônio Carlos Jobim, and the Gipsy Kings.
