Zora Rasmussen is back! After a sold out run last season, she’s back at Pangea with Bette Sussman [her virtuoso accompanist/music director – Whitney Houston, Bette Midler , Christine Ebersole] and bassist Zev Katz, [Roxy Music, Linda Ronstadt, Hall & Oates] The NY Times calls Zora’s act, “coolly eclectic” – a cocktail of smokey vocals shaken with a generous twist of comedy.
Zora debuted on Broadway wrestling Andy Kaufman and Debbie Harry in the musical Teaneck Tanzi: The Venus Flytrap (it ran one night). Her soap opera gig was cut short when her character on One Life To Live was killed off in a fire (she heard about it from her babysitter). A regular on the cabaret scene in the last century (remember those days – Reno Sweeney) Zora is thrilled to be back at Pangea-
