Erik Leuthauser is an award winning young German singer who bases his singing on his experiences as a young musician in a big city such as Berlin with honesty and dedication. Leuthauser released his 1st album in 2015 to critical acclaim. He won 1st Prize at the Riga Jazz Stage International Vocal Jazz competition in Latvia and in 2016 won 1st Prize at the Big Sky Jazz Voice completion in Moscow. He also was on of the top 5 vocalists at the international “Made in NY Jazz Competition.” He sang background for Quincy Jones, George Benson and Dee Dee Bridgewater. Erik has since recorded tribute albums to Susanna McCorkle and Ronny Whyte and will be performing some of these with pianist Allen Farnham and bassist Steve La Spina.
