Vicki Burns has been performing steadily almost since the moment she arrived in New York from San Francisco in 2009. Performance highlights include sold out shows at Birdland, The Iridium, Zinc Bar, Mezzrow and North Square and a special six month stint at The Plaza Hotel. She has had residencies at Jazz at Kitano and is currently singing bi-monthly at The Lexington Hotel. Last summer she had sold out performances and standing ovations on a California tour of the Bay Area including at the Sound Room in Oakland. She has recently recorded a critically acclaimed album, “Lotus Blossom Days” which features original music and rarely sung gems from the Great American Song Book.
