Critically acclaimed actor / singer / storyteller Tim Connell returns to Pangea after a successful run of his most recent show of Dreamin’ Again, just in time for St. Patrick’s Day. He will be celebrating the luck of being Irish with a bit of song, story, wit and genuine Irish sentiment. Joining him onstage will be long-time collaborator, Musical Director James Followell. Additionally, Ari Messenger will be on violin / fiddle. The evening is directed by Steven Petrillo.
The evening includes songs from contemporary Irish singer/songwriters (Gilbert O’Sullivan, Damien Rice, Van Morrison), Broadway (George M!, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, Finian’s Rainbow), and of course some good ol’ reliable pub songs.
Alix Cohen – www.womenaroundtown.com: “Tim Connell is a find. […] And oh, that lustrous voice!”
Bart Greenberg – www.cabaretscenes.org “Tim Connell is a cabaret minimalist. […] performer who lets his songs and his tales speak for themselves.”
