“Wildly entertaining” show of songs and hilarious stories on love and adultery by the “incredible storyteller” Lisa Faith Phillips.
Singer and comic storyteller Lisa Faith Phillips weaves a hilarious new show of songs and stories on the highs and lows of love and adultery. From a Marlene Dietrich tribute “Falling in Love Again” (she had affairs with both men and women!) and Monroe-inspired “Diamonds are a Girl Best Friend” to great cheating numbers “Three Cigarettes in an Ashtray” and the rarely performed “Other Lady” by Leslie Gore. Lisa gives the skinny on dishy affairs! (Did you know “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face” was written by singer Ewan MacColl for his mistress singer Peggy Seeger, half-sister of legendary folk singer Pete Seeger?)
With the marvelous Alberto Pibiri on piano, it is sure to be a delicious evening of laughter and musical joy. To find out more, visit: lisafaithphillips.com
