Scott F. Mason hails from the first state of Delaware, and has been a professional Dame Edna impersonator for 20 years. He has performed in Las Vegas, Sedona, Orlando, and throughout the the Mid-Atlantic, and made his NYC debut in 2022 at Don’t Tell Mama. He was a final nominee for the 2023 MAC Awards Male Debut, and won a 2023 Bistro award for “Outstanding Comedic Characterization.”
In 2010, he was named the Dame’s Honorary Understudy by her creator, Barry Humphries, and is in the Sunburst Impersonator Convention’s Hall of Fame as Funniest Male. He has twice won the Vegas Celebrity Impersonator Reel Award’s Best Comedian. He also appears with his impersonation in the award-winning short subject documentary “Just About Famous.”
In addition to his Dame Edna work, Mason is an accomplished musical book writer, playwright, director, and actor. He has also appeared for over 30 years as “Drosselmeyer” in Delaware Dance Company’s annual “The Nutcracker.”
