DARYL SHERMAN, longtime Manhattan mainstay, is a unique singing pianist with charm and a quick wit.  A chemistry with her audience is quite palpable. Her equally strong piano skills and silky distinctive voice have graced all the top NYC venues from the Waldorf=Astoria to Jazz at Lincoln Center with Wynton Marsalis. She tours UK and Japan annually. Her many CDs are in regular rotation on Cable TV’s Music Choice, Amazon Music, Spotify and other streams. When clarinetist/ star Artie Shaw formed a new band in the 1980s Daryl Sherman was his chosen singer, calling her “first rate singer-musician.” 

Daryl grew up in Rhode Island where her trombonist dad fed her the American Songbook from  A-Z.  

Her passion for interpreting all kinds of songs has never waned. Just this year she was honored at SPECIAL ceremony and inducted into the RHODE ISLAND MUSIC HALL OF FAME.

To welcome in the new year, Daryl is delighted to share her well stocked basket of songs for close listening and some chat to make the evening cozy and fun. Pangea is the perfect place for this. She laments there’s never enough time to perform all of them. However, with the very long career she’s still maintaining – Pangea will just have to book her back !

Pangea is New York’s iconic restaurant / cabaret dinner theater. All shows have a $20 food and/or beverage minimum per person (unless otherwise indicated on your ticket.)

Tickets online are $20. Tickets at the door, if available, are $25 (Cash Only).

The house opens at 6:00pm for food and beverage service.

Please note the ticket price goes mostly to the performers and production staff. The club sells food and beverages to continue to bring live music to NYC. 

We do not take reservations and seating is first come, first seated.
