Forget your troubles while Lila Day travails through her own, but don’t worry… everything’s coming up sunshine and lollipops with some help from Judy Garland, George Michael, Gene Autry, the Bee Gees and more. Join Lila as this middle-aged NYC gal makes her cabaret debut directed by Kristine Zbornik with musical direction and stylings by Brian Holman. Once said of Lila by her high school choral director, “she could have been good.”
Aron Bederson — www.cabaretscenes.org: “Lila Day’s debut cabaret performance entitled Getting Happy was indeed pleasurable and something to get happy about. […] All of Day’s natural skill and innate qualities came together in a very well put together show. Director Kristine Zbornik expertly guided this narrative of story and song, told with humor and sincerity, and Brian Holman at the piano played beautifully throughout the evening. […]This was an excellent debut performance.”
