On November 3rd, Lacy Rose, her Starling quartet and pianist Isaac Hayward return to Pangea for a phantasmagoric night of music! In honor of All Hallow’s Eve and Day of the Dead, when the veil between worlds is most thin, this musical seance will feature Ghost Music, other haunting original compositions for voice, piano, harmonium and string quartet as well as spooky covers and supernatural guests. Costumes are encouraged!
Performers include Masha Polishchuk and Kate Goddard (violin), Nicky Kaynor (viola), Maria Jeffers (cello), Lacy Rose (harmonium, vocals), Isaac Hayward (piano) and surprise guests!

Lacy Rose is a NYC-based lyric poet, composer and vocalist who regales listeners with tales of magic, myth, tragic and eternal love. She has opened for and performed with such eclectic artists as Cocorosie, Carol Lipnik, Baby Dee, Dave Malloy, Gelsey Bell, Amanda Palmer, Jason Webley, and Sxip Shirey. With her Starling Quartet, Rose has performed her Baroque Cabaret at venues such as the McKittrick Hotel (home of “Sleep No More”), National Sawdust, the TANK, Owl Music Parlor, HERE Arts Center, the Triad Theater, Rockwood Music Hall, Laurie Beechman Theatre, and Pangea. She recently released her singles, “More and More” and “Sure as the Stars,” surrealistic standards that were recorded and produced by John Agnello (Sonic Youth, Kurt Vile). She is currently working on a song cycle/concept album, LISPECTOR, devoted to author Clarice Lispector’s glamorous, complicated, and radical life and works.
