Join us for an encore performance of “Yesterday…Once More,” celebrating the musical legacy of sibling duo Karen and Richard Carpenter. Throughout the 1970s, the Carpenters topped the charts with songs of joy — and comfort. Four decades later, a community of fans and singers of all ages are still inspired by their music, often posting their own renditions of Carpenters tunes on social media. Featuring: musical director Gregory Toroian on piano, Skip Ward on bass, David Silliman on drums.
Directed by Lina Koutrakos.
Stephen Mosher of BroadwayWorld Cabaret says: “Gratitude fills the air because Kati Neiheisel is more than equal to the task of representing the legacy of the Carpenters, and that of Karen herself.”
Betsyann Faiella of Bistro Awards says: “Kati Neiheisel’s absolutely charming show, Yesterday…Once More, is a love letter to the Carpenters…terrific entertainment full of gorgeous music and fun facts.”
Jed Ryan of LavenderAfterDark.com says: “In three simple words, Yesterday…Once More says so much about Neiheisel’s respectfully loving yet uniquely original take on the many, many timeless songs of the legendary brother and sister duo.”
