The acclaimed series Fabulous First Fridays continues its residency at the crown jewel of downtown cabaret, Pangea, with a celebration of the musical legend, Jimmy Webb, legendary writer, composer, arranger, producer, and singer famed for “By the Time I Get to Phoenix,” “Up, Up & Away,” “The Worst that Could Happen,” “Didn’t We,” and “MacArthur Park” among so many others.

BroadwayWorld.com called the show “…an absolute delight…lives up to its name…poised to be the not-to-miss series of downtown nightlife.” It’s an entertaining mix of musical styles and spoken word performed by some of New York cabaret’s brightest stars.

The cast this time around includes Brian Childers, Aisha de Haas, Matt DiPasquale, Karen Mack, Andre Montgomery, Lauren Mufson, Mike Schuil, and Lisa Viggiano with their one-man orchestra Yasuhiko Fukuoka and director/writer Gerry Geddes. The show will include lots of Jimmy Webb songs (both classic and rare), and other material chosen by the cast, done in each singer’s unique style. In addition to the regular Pangea family members and some brand-new faces there will be a story or two and the usual laughs and surprises. Fabulous First Fridays gets better with each appearance, so come to have a good time to see what the excitement’s about!
