Come toast the holidays as Carol returns to Pangea to rock the spirit, soothe the soul, and celebrate the craziness and the kitsch that define this time of year. With a set list that includes  Christmas standards, some unexpected goodies, as well as several of her own beloved original Christmas tunes, you’ll catch a good dose of Seasonal Cheer despite your skeptical self!  Carol is joined by her fabulous band of musical merry makers, long-time Music Director John DiPinto, Greg Landes on drums, Marc Schmied on bass, and Mary Foster Conklin on supporting vocals with very special guest Jefferson Thomas doing his guitar thang. Carol McCann has been seen and heard in the New York clubs for three decades. A writer member of ASCAP since 1991, Carol’s music style has been playfully branded ‘Urban Folk Rock’ and synthesizes elements of country, jazz, rock, and blues, with just a breath of theatricality.  Her performances are known for their mix of standards, original songs, and the occasional twisted, re-worded classic. Her music has been featured in the BBC series BORDER CAFÉ and performed by fellow singers Mary Foster Conklin, Lisa Asher, Annie Hughes, and Lena Koutrakis. This year Carol was a finalist in the AnthemToUs project sponsored by Lincoln Center and the New York Library.  She performs with long-time accompanist and arranger, John DiPinto.
